My name is Ellie Brennan, and I’m excited to help you because it’s likely that, like me, you’re interested in the differences between similar things. Yes, I was always the one who wondered “why this and not that” or “surely they’re the same – what are the differences?”.
So with an interest in small but important details, I’ve set up this personal blog just, really, to represent my own interests and some of the things I’ve discovered on my journey of weighing one thing against another. I’m not a professor of language or in any way a scholarly writer so bear with me on this journey. That’s me – I’m not an expert and I don’t profess to be but have enjoyed finding out about the sometimes small but sometimes huge differences between things that seem very similar. I’ve been like that since I was a young girl in the mid-west!
